Our approach

How we put a guide together.

Useful ideas, clear limitations and room for your own judgement.

Editorial advice and personal experience

Our guides offer general outfit and beauty ideas. We do not describe products as personally worn, tested or reviewed unless the article identifies the actual experience and method. Brand mentions are examples, not endorsements based on testing.

How we choose shopping examples

We consider the purpose of the item, cut or format, compatibility with other pieces, and the information a reader should check. Always verify current price, stock, ingredients, size, delivery and returns at the retailer. We do not promise the lowest price.

Images and shopping links

Editorial styling images illustrate an outfit or routine. They are not product photographs or proof of use. Links labelled “similar options” refer to alternatives; they do not identify the exact pictured garments. Retailer photographs and specifications should guide a purchase.

Commercial relationships

Our current retailer links are ordinary links and do not earn commission. If approved affiliate links are introduced, affected pages will carry an upfront disclosure and the links will be identified. Sponsored content will be labelled. Read our shopping policy.

Beauty content and sources

Beauty guides provide general information, not individual treatment advice. Follow product directions and qualified advice for persistent symptoms. Where a guide discusses health guidance, consult the primary source linked in that article.

Updates and corrections

“Updated” dates identify an editorial revision; they do not mean every retailer listing has been checked that day. For any correction, record the affected page, the wording or link involved and a supporting source where available. Retailer order queries belong with the retailer.
