How we choose and link to products

London to Loom shares practical ideas for everyday UK dressing, Indian occasion wear and beauty. We favour pieces you can use again, and suggest comparing what you already own before buying.

Product and brand examples

Named products and brands illustrate an idea or give you a starting point for comparison. A link to a shop does not mean we have bought, worn or tested the item. We say so clearly when a guide is based on hands-on experience. Stock, prices, ingredients, sizes, delivery and returns can change; check them directly with the retailer.

Current retailer links

At present, the retailer links in our guides are ordinary links. They are not affiliate links, and London to Loom does not earn a commission from them. The linked retailers have not sponsored the guides.

If commercial links are introduced

Any guide with an affiliate link or other paid placement will be clearly labelled near the relevant content. We will also identify commission-earning links and mark them appropriately for search engines. A commission would not increase the price you pay to us, but the retailer controls its own prices and terms. A brand mention on its own is not a recommendation to purchase.

Our approach

We try to explain why an item may fit a particular wardrobe or routine, mention useful limitations, and provide alternatives when possible. We do not describe an item as personally tested unless it has been. If a link stops working, use the product name to find the current listing on the retailer’s site.
